Overview

Located in Vero Beach along Florida’s Treasure Coast, Windsor is a private residential community and sporting club unlike any other. Its uniquely enchanting lifestyle came about through the vision of co-founders, W. Galen and Hilary M. Weston of Toronto, Canada. Over the past 30 years, the Westons have been personally involved in every detail of creating their “village by the sea.”

Across 472 lush acres, nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River, Members and guests enjoy a host of exclusive amenities, including beach and golf clubs, a links-style golf course, tennis and equestrian centres and fine and casual dining restaurants.

Community Culture

Art and culture are as much a part of the essence of the Windsor lifestyle as premier sporting. Every year, Members are invited to attend a thoughtfully curated and diverse array of events ranging from fine art exhibitions and performing arts shows to classical and contemporary musical concerts and a speaker series with talks by business, literary, and cultural thought-leaders. These exclusive events are held in Windsor’s elegant amenity spaces, including the Town Hall, the Exedra amphitheater, the Clubhouse and The Gallery at Windsor.

Continued Excellence

Over the decades, the Westons have undertaken improvement and expansion projects to preserve and continually enhance the Windsor community. In 2019, legendary golf course architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr., the original designer of Windsor’s golf course, returned to lead a thorough refresh of this prized course. In 2020-21, three important projects will be in progress: the North Village expansion, a comprehensive redesign and expansion of the Fitness & Wellness Centre, and the development of a new open-air restaurant at the Beach Club.
