Sysco Named Official Food Sponsor for the 2018 Windsor Charity Polo Cup
Windsor is pleased to announce that Sysco has been named the Official Food Sponsor for the 2018 Windsor Charity Polo Cup. Sysco has generously donated funds to underwrite the luncheon, which begins at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018, in advance of the highly-anticipated polo match.
Sysco is the global leader in selling, marketing and distributing food and non-food products to restaurants, healthcare and educational facilities, lodging establishments and other customers around the world. The company was founded by Herbert Irving, John F. Baugh and Harry Rosenthal in 1969 and has since become the world’s largest broadline food distributor, operating over 300 distribution facilities worldwide.
The luncheon’s menu, specially-crafted by Windsor’s Executive Chef Robert Meitzer, will feature passed canapés, a beef tenderloin and crab entrée, and a delectable chocolate and raspberry dessert.

The luncheon is sold-out with more than 800 guests attending this year, almost double the number since the inaugural biennial charity polo cup took place in 2012.
Co-chaired by the Hon. Hilary M. Weston and Salvatore Ferragamo, the Windsor Charity Polo Cup is recognized as the premier high-goal charity polo match of the season. Taking place from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018, on Windsor’s polo grounds, the event will feature a roster of top-level international players. The biennial event’s purpose is to raise money for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, as well as the Alzheimer & Parkinson Association of Indian River County.
