Windsor Unveils the Official Cocktail for the 2020 Windsor Charity Polo Cup
A returning tradition following its debut in the 2018 Windsor Charity Polo Cup, Windsor is excited to announce the Official Cocktail for the 2020 Windsor Charity Polo Cup, presented by PNC Bank. Created by Windsor’s Clubhouse bar and paying homage to the featured sport, the fittingly named Seventh Chukker showcases ingredients from Official Cocktail Sponsors Casa Dragones and Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice Company to offer a fun and flavorful beverage for spectators to enjoy during the match.
Founded in 2008, Casa Dragones is an independent, small batch producer with a passion for creating exceptional sipping tequilas, one bottle at a time. Each bottle is hand-signed and numbered, hallmarking their commitment to quality.
Family owned and operated, Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice Company was founded in 1990 by Marygrace Sexton, whose husband is a 4th-generation Florida citrus grower. Today, Natalie’s can be found in 30 states and 24 countries, and is a ten-time recipient of the America’s Best Tasting Fresh Florida Juice Award.
The Seventh Chukker’s name is a nod to the segments in a traditional polo match. Mixed with Casa Dragones Blanco tequila and Natalie’s orange, pink grapefruit and lemon juices, the libation will be served during the luncheon reception for guests’ enjoyment.
“Our talented Clubhouse team has once again created a delicious and refreshing accompaniment to the polo festivities, utilizing two of our valued sponsors,” said Jane Smalley, Windsor’s Marketing Director. “The Seventh Chukker is primed to be one of the highlights of the 2020 Windsor Charity Polo Cup and we look forward to inviting our guests to enjoy one as they take in an exciting match.”
Presented in 2020 by PNC Bank, the Windsor Charity Polo Cup is recognized as the premier charity sporting event of the season in Vero Beach. This year’s event will raise funds for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Indian River County, the Literacy Services of Indian River County, and the Humane Society of Vero Beach & Indian River County. The net proceeds will stay in Indian River County and will be divided equally to support the charities respective causes.
In addition to world-class polo, the event will showcase an array of interactive events and exhibitions, including an elegant luncheon, themed tailgate, Specialty Retail Village, luxury automobile concours, high-end raffle and gourmet concession stands.
